Then the Bild newspaper came along with its “educated” journalist and spouted this strange stuff:

Newspaper Bild Reporter- Harry Krischner (Hare Krishna) Berlin Corona Demo

Who is „Harry Krischner“?
That’s what happened to Peter Wilke, 19 years young and a reporter for the Bild newspaper, who didn’t know who the “Hare Krishnas” were?

“People are dancing here, singing ‘Harry Krischner, Harry Krischner’. These are Harry Krischner disciples. I don’t know him personally. But my colleagues have just told me about him. He’s supposed to be a famous person, probably not from my time. But yes, they’re singing ‘Harry Krischner, Harry Krischner’ and celebrating this demonstration they’ve held here today.”

This young reporter from the BILD newspaper must have gotten something mixed up – luckily his colleague explained to him that Harry is famous. Otherwise he would have ended up making a fool of himself. You can’t expect a general education from the stupid Bild reporters.

Some mocked the reporter afterwards because he thought “Hare Krishna” or “Harry Krischner” was a real person.

Many on social networks also commented: Hare Krishna, everyone knows this people/mantra today because it is now half a century ago, after all, when the Hare Krishna movement emerged and became popular in the West and Krishna monks could be seen singing and dancing in pedestrian zones.

Forgive him, he’s only 12 and works for the stupid Bild newspaper, which educates the stupid. More embarrassing is the elderly gentleman with the cell phone.

Well, who didn’t know Harry? A legend in his own lifetime. Especially in times like these, we needed him. Harry, you will never be forgotten!

Corona Demo in Leipzig – Street Saṅkīrtan and distribution of sweets (Prasāda)

And here we were still in Leipzig at the Corona Demo and distributed Vedic spiritual books, prasadām-sweets and the Holy Name of God. People were happy to see us and we were able to distribute many books.
Harinām Saṅkīrtan is simply BLISS :-)

Harinama Sankirtan

Devotees follow in the footsteps of Lord Caitanya, chanting and dancing on the streets of the city and traveling to different places to give conditioned souls the opportunity to hear and benefit from Krishna’s holy name.

This public chanting of the mantras is meant to give people an impetus for their own spiritual life and remind them that the deeper spiritual meaning of life lies in God realization. The collective chanting of the Hare Krishna Maha mantra manifests a powerful spiritual atmosphere that creates auspicious circumstances. Whoever hears or chants the names of Krishna can derive great spiritual benefit. In this sense, chanting together is an attempt to uplift people’s consciousness and give them access to spirituality.

Everyone is welcome to take part in the Harinama. You don’t need to bring anything or any special talent. Presence is the most important thing! – Just give us a call if you are interested:

Demo 29.8.2020 Berlin Hare Krishna spontaneous After-Party with Police.

The police surrounded us and took and confiscated our instruments, but we continued to sing anyway.

When people sing together, they bond. People who sing together harmonize better. When there are tensions, emotional tensions, and then you sing together, the tensions disappear and you feel connected to each other. Singing the Holy Names of God together elevates people and connects them on a spiritual level.
